The Lester B. Pearson Award is presented to the NHL's outstanding player, as selected by the members of the National Hockey League Players' Association. The Trophy was presented to the NHL by the National Hockey League Players' Association in honour of the late Lester B. Pearson, former Prime Minister of Canada. The winner receives $20,000.
